So, What's it All About? Patty and her friends are having a fun party at her house but one of her guests is unhappy and hiding from a bully in the laundry room. The audience, through participation in songs, and discussions with the characters learn valuable lessons about bullying and what to do about it, such as:
-
What it feels like to be bullied/picked on;
-
What are some things you can do if you are being bullied to protect yourself;
-
What to do if you are a bystander and witness someone being bullied;
-
why bystanders are so important (all kids get to participate as active bystanders in the play); and
-
Why it's important not to fight with a bully.
Also, children are encouraged to continue discussing the topic to help them understand just what bullying is (in all of it's forms) and come up with creative solutions for dealing with the various types of bullying.
