Delete Cyberbullying
Great Advice Huh?
It's always best to follow these simple rules but what happens if you forget? Have you already accidentally or intentionally given out your password or personal information?
We spent some time talking to a professional counsellor at Kids Help Phone to find out what you can do if you’ve gotten in too deep while online.
First of all, you should know it is NOT the end of the world. You do need to talk to someone though. So, who will you talk to? Parents are your best first choice and/or you can always reach out to Kids Help Phone at 1800 668 6868. They are available 24 hours a day to help kids with exactly these types of issues. They can even give you advice on how to talk to your parents.
It's important to remember that we all make mistakes. It's better to confess those mistakes as early as possible so that things don't get too out of hand, even if you think it's too late, you can still talk to someone and get help. Take a deep breath, swallow your fears about telling and talk to someone.
Asking an adult you trust for help is the right thing to do.
